The Burning Bush and the Sisters of Sheynville - A Tribal Revival

Category :: Concert
Award winning solo performer Tracey Erin Smith has teamed up with the all-female Yiddish Swing-Klezmer sensation the Sisters of Sheynville for ONE NIGHT ONLY at Lula Lounge.

Smith combines her hilarious solo show, 'The Burning Bush' with the soulful music of the Sisters of Sheynville. This new combo of talents creates an old time swingin' gospel revival.

You ain't never been saved like this!

FYI - Doors open: 7:00pm for dinner -- Show begins at 8:00pm

Tracey Erin Smith:
The Burning Bush is the story of Barbara Baumawitz, a female rabbinical student who teams up with exotic dancers to save souls. Smith is the only solo artist to win 'Best of the Toronto Fringe Festival' two years in a row and an Audience Choice Award at Frigid Festival New York City.

"A total crowd pleaser! Theatergoers (and deep-pocketed commercial producers) should check it out while they still have the chance."

-New York Theatre Experience (March 2007)

Sisters of Sheynville: "A high energy, all-women sextet who bring to life Yiddish swing, Klezmer and roots music inspired by the Barry Sisters of the 1930s and 40s.

"…they've constantly electrified audiences wherever they've gone."
-Canadian Jewish News (November 2007)
