One HOT Day - Jewish Volunteering for Young Adults in Toronto

Category :: Community
One HOT Day is the day when Jewish young adults band together and help out the our Community. Projects this year included a charity event for young cancer patients at Sick Kids, the Zareinu Move-a-thon, working with the Jewish Family and Child Service to paint apartments, feeding the homeless, gardening with Kehilla, building cages at the Toronto Wildlife Center and other great projects - there is something for everyone! Register and help make this year's One HOT Day the best HOT Day yet!

The times listed below are really just a range. Most projects run for 3-4 hours and start at various times throughout the day - some start early, some start late, depending on the project. There will, however, be a get together for all volunteers at the Wolfond Center on U of T campus (36 Harbord Street) after your duties are done.

We hope you can join us! By all means, invite any friends that you think might be interested in helping out our Community!

To register for the event, YOU MUST USE THE UJA WEBSITE - it is not enough just to say that you'll attend the event using Facebook. To register, please go to this URL:

The website will tell you which events still have spaces and which need more people. Please go ASAP and register for the project that interests you.
