Showcase Production of a groundbreaking new Canadian play featuring Afro-Klezmer-Rap music, about the aftershocks of genocide. Noah's Great Rainbow presents an unlikely friendship between an elderly Jewish survivor of the Holocaust and a young black man from Rwanda, a friendship that blossoms into truth telling, laughter, shared wisdom, and ultimately an extraordinary gesture of love. These two survivors realize they have more in common with each other than anything that might separate them. Written by Sam Chaiton, directed by Alon Nashman, music by David Buchbinder, Waleed Abdulhamid and Popo Murigande, starring Don Francks and Mighty Popo.
