Not many artists are as recognizably Jewish as Matthew Paul Miller, better known as Matisyahu. Matisyahu wowed the Jewish and Reggae worlds with mixing his reggae styles with Jewish commentary, all while wearing traditional Hasidic garb. In 2006, Matisyahu released his first album, called Youth, which featured King Without a Crown, an unexpected Top 40 hit. Last week, Matisyahu released his third studio album, Light. According to early reviews, the sounds heard on Light are much more diverse than previous albums, with a little less mention of G-d and Torah.
