The Canadian Council for Israel and Jewish Advocacy (CIJA) is a new, non-partisan organization founded to set direction, coordinate and strengthen community advocacy efforts on behalf of the Jewish Community in Canada. As an initiative of the United Israel Appeal Federations Canada (UIAFC), CIJA supports and coordinates activities of the Canadian Jewish Congress, the Canada-Israel Committee and National Jewish Campus Life. In addition, CIJA has established CIJA-PAC, a unique, membership-based national organization dedicated to attracting, involving, informing and training advocates to take action on issues that are important to the Canadian Jewish Community.
