The Canada-Israel Committee (CIC) is the official representative of the organized Canadian Jewish community on matters pertaining to Canada-Israel relations. With the aim of promoting and advancing the Canada-Israel relationship, the CIC communicates on a regular basis with Members of Parliament, Senators, federal civil servants, provincial and municipal governments, journalists, academics and others who have an impact on public opinion in Canada. The staff and lay leadership of the CIC provide expertise and technical support to the general Canadian community and Jewish organizations on issues relating to Canada's Middle East policy, Israel and the Middle East.
