The Annex Shul is a new downtown synagogue that to caters to the social, religious and spiritual needs of the downtown Toronto Jewish community. The Annex Shul has begun as a Friday night service held in the Carlebach style, encouraging community participation through singing, dancing and leading of services. Our goal is to develop into a full-service synagogue as our membership increases.We offer a unique Shabbat atmosphere with mixed and separate seating options. Our doors are open to everyone - each week we welcome and host individuals with diverse religious backgrounds and styles of observance.
